Press Release
Each year MLREMS ( Monroe-Livingston Regional Emergency Medical Services Council) receives hundreds of nominations for 11 different awards for people in the EMS community for Monroe and Livingston Counties. There are two additional awards for Livingston County Providers only.
In mid-February, two members were notified of receiving awards.
Dansville Ambulance Company’s Floyd Sick, Director of Operations, received the Richard “Dick” Tripp Community Service Award.
Tanya Tatu, Deputy Director of Operations, received the BLS Provider of The Year (basic life support, EMT). Her submission is also being sent to the State level in the category.
After a three month delay, the last award was announced in a video meeting.
